Cocktail Umbrella

Add some ladylike flair to your drinks with these refreshing and pretty cocktail umbrellas made from paper. These beauties are so much fun to play with and absolutely perfect to spruce up your next cocktail party. They are so easy to make and all you need is some decorative doilies and toothpicks or long thin wooden sticks. You Will Need

  • Paper Doilies
  • Thin Wooden Sticks or Toothpicks
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Bead (optional)

How To Make

  1. Mark the center of the doily and poke a tiny hole through it
  2. Draw a line from the center of the circle to the bottom
  3. Cut along that line with your scissors
  4. Overlap the cut edges about 1.4" and glue them together
  5. Put a drop of glue in the inside point of each umbrella
  6. Poke the blunt edge of the toothpick or wooden stick through it
  7. For fancy appearance glue one or more beads to the outside point of the toothpick
