Flip Flap Mini Album


Make this gorgeous, interactive and fun-filled mini album with all those flips, flaps and pull out tabs. This mini album will easily hold up to 20 photos and has enough room to add a few notes as well as sentiments. This is a perfect album to preserve your special memories for a lifetime. It is also super easy to make, so you can create one for each of your life's various adventures. 

You Will Need

  • Paper - Cardstock & Pattern paper of different shades and patterns 
  • Tools - Circle Punch, Sponge, Scoring Tool, Dye Based Inks and Journaling Pen
  • Accessories - Stamped Impressions, Ribbon, Paper Borders and Washi Tape
  • Glue - Double sided tape, foam tape and liquid glue
  • Photos - 15 to 20

How To Make

  1. Cut one 12 x 6 piece, three 12 x 5.75 pieces and three 5.5 x 5.5 pieces of cardstock
  2. Score & fold the long side of 12 x 6 piece at 2.5 inch, 3 inch, 9 inch and 9.5 inch
  3. Score and fold the long side of the three 12 x 5.75 pieces at 3 inch and 9 inch
  4. Glue the three scored and folded pieces of 12 x 5.75 cardstock to make a paper chain
  5. Glue the center of the paper chain to the center of the folded 12 x 6 piece of cardstock
  6. Take two of the 5.5 x 5.5 pieces and glue them on the outer flaps of the 12 x 6 cardstock
  7. Make sure to leave equal space around all three edges
  8. Take a 4 feet long ribbon and glue it to the back of the album
  9. Cover the back with the remaining 5.5 x 5.5 cardstock paper
  10. Cut and adhere pattern papers on each flap leaving equal space around all edges
  11. Decorate the album with borders, doilies, washi tape and stamped images
  12. Make pockets in the flaps and base to add inserts for your notes
