The Party Cabinet

Who doesn't love parties? From time to time, we all throw a nice party where we invite our friends, family, relatives, co-workers and neighbors. However, planning a party can be a daunting task for someone who is organizing it. But there is no need to fret, because we have put together a series of party planning ideas which we will be sharing with you on this site in the following weeks. These ideas apply to big parties as well as small, to home parties or parties in clubs or other rented places, to day or night parties alike.

As someone who has entertained for over a decade, I can tell you that the secret to entertaining with ease is to plan ahead and always be well prepared. And to pull out a great event every single time, its imperative that we keep a few party essentials on site for celebrations. Scroll down below to see the list of supplies that we keep well stocked in our studio to convert an everyday space into a party-ready hangout.

1. Candles. Tall and skinny, with numbers or letters, musical as well as glittery, we keep a wide range of candles in assorted colors to match the style and size of the cake.

2. Cake Toppers. From edible stars or sprinkled balls and plastic figurines, to handmade banners and florals, there is always something to pull out of our stock to make cake decorating a lot more fun.

3. Backdrop & Signage. To add a design element to an otherwise boring wall, backdrops have become a party staple at our studio. Depending on the theme of the event, a wide variety of items such as flowers, honeycombs, fringes, tassels, garlands, cut-outs and buntings are used to make the space look more colorful.

4. Centerpieces & Props. From rustic lamps and lanterns to modern mason jars and votives, from decorative frames to handmade flower baskets and a whole lot of antique metal pieces, there is always something in our closet to give an unique feel to the event.

5. Party Hats & Tiaras. Colorful paper hats and decorative tiaras for girls are an absolute must-have if you are celebrating a kid's birthday party. Hang them together with a thread to decorate your space or use them to giveaway treats to your guests.

6. Paper Wrappers, Bags & Boxes. A collection of ribbons, papers, straws, wooden sticks, twines, fabrics, beads, buttons and metal accents can be used for packaging food items or dressing up jars or favor bags and boxes.
