DIY | Layered Rose

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and this gives us an opportunity to go all roses and a perfect excuse to add some shades of pink into our decor. For a bit of romance, here is a fun and creative project that you can make for your home or as a gift for someone significant in your life!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Scissors
  • Cricut Cutting Machine 
  • Shadow Box Frame [10" x 10"]
  • Foam mounting squares
  • Glue
  • Glitter Paper 
  • 230 gsm / 85 lb Cardstock   

Glitter Paper: Rose & Golden  |  Cardstock: White, Pink, Fucshia, Green & Black

INSTRUCTION

  • Gather all tools and materials
  • Cut out the layers using a cutting machine
  • Cut out the black background paper to fit your frame
  • Adhere the pink glitter square in the center of the background paper 
  • Using foam squares in between each layer adhere them in the following order 
    • From bottom to top : Gold glitter, Green, Dark Pink, Light Pink and White
  • Disassemble your frame and replace the backer with black background paper
  • Reassemble the frame
